Along with the No. 1 spot on this list, Japan is universally revered for its cuisine. Clean, concise, complex, and creative, Japanese food is simply sublime. When looking at Tokyo as a whole, the city bursts into one’s psyche like a pinata at an EDM festival. The bright lights, loud noises, and constant commotion make New York City appear dull. For more of a traditional feel, one can take the bullet train out to another prefecture. Kyoto has quintessential imperial touches. Osaka is striking with its cherry trees and unique architecture. While it may appear overwhelming at times, Japan is a once-in-a-lifetime trip.
