Biased judging at the Olympics is not uncommon. The 1988 Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, were no different. Competing for the boxing gold medal, Roy Jones Jr. pummeled his opponent, Korea’s own, Park Si-Hun. Jones landed over 50 more punches and forced Si-Hun into two standing eight counts. Despite his utter dominance, Jones was robbed of the victory and had to settle for silver.
