Some may quibble over whether Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara) is indeed a pop star. Some will call him a rock star — while others will call him a byproduct of a rock-based hybrid. Regardless, Mercury possessed the charisma, flamboyancy, and unbelievable voice of an all-time great. We all will widely recognize Queen as a terrific band.
