Katherine Heigl played Seth Rogan’s love interest in the hit comedy Knocked Up. However, Anne Hathaway was initially offered Heigl’s role. The movie features a rather graphic birth scene. After having not been a mother (at that point in time), Hathaway didn’t think she’d be able to portray that experience well enough on screen to make it seem realistic.
